PEDRO OPEKA – CHARITY FOOTBALL EVENT AT TIVOLI HALL

POTA – 20 YEARS: PEDRO OPEKA’S VISIT TO CELEBRATE THE 20TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE POTA PROGRAMME

This year, we are celebrating the 20th anniversary of the POTA programme, which, in cooperation with missionaries, gives young people the opportunity to experience missionary life both at home and around the world. To mark this special occasion, we have invited one of our missionary hosts, Pedro Opeka, to Slovenia.

A charity football event will take place at Tivoli Hall on 22 November 2026 at 4:00 PM, in cooperation with the Football Association of Slovenia (NZS).

The motto of the visit and anniversary celebration is “Show Us the Way!” This phrase captures the role of missionary Pedro Opeka and missionaries around the world, who point towards Jesus as the Way to our Heavenly Father.

Through the POTA programme, we also aim to equip young people for this mission, empowering them to help others find the right path in today’s world, where so many seem to be lost or heading in the wrong direction.
