South-east of the Stožice Sports Centre lie two football pitches: a larger natural grass pitch with an irrigation system, measuring 100 by 60 metres, and a smaller pitch with artificial turf, measuring 100 by 52.5 metres, equipped with additional artificial lighting.
The lighting system consists of six 18-metre-high masts, each fitted with a total of 24 floodlights with a power output of 2,300 W. As part of the pitch infrastructure, appropriate power supply and control cabinets were installed. The floodlights are operated in three stages via a DALI controller. Both football pitches are enclosed by a fence up to 2.5 metres in height. The security fence features two gates, each 5 metres wide, and around the pitches a ball-stop net has been installed, stretched between 6-metre-high poles.
The pitches are intended for competition preparation by Ljubljana-based football clubs across all age categories and provide excellent training conditions throughout the year, both in summer and winter.
