URBAN SPORT CENTER STOŽICE

The Urban Sports Center Stožice is the only modern public indoor space in Slovenia dedicated to urban sports (skateboarding, rollerblading, inline skating, scooter riding & BMX riding). It is constructed primarily with wood, complemented by individual elements of metal, concrete, and granite. Located beneath the eastern stands of the Stožice Stadium, it represents an innovative architectural adaptation of an existing underground parking area.

The Urban Sports Center Stožice consists of two purpouse-built areas, connected by a mezzanine that serves as the main entrance and a communal space. The larger area features a street-style course with various urban elements, while the smaller area is filled with fluid/curved structures designed as a flow course. In addition to fixed features, both sections include smaller movable elements, which enhance the Center’s versatility and allows it to be adapted to the varied needs of its users.  The Centre is intended for both open practice and individual/group courses as well as classes by various urban sports clubs.

Both riding areas must be vacated 15 minutes before the facility closes. When visiting for recreational purpouses, users must adhere to the training schedules based on equipment usage. Helmet use is mandatory for individuals under 18. Additional protective gear is recommended. We suggest that beginners and parents with children under the age of 12 use the center during the early afternoon hours.

We kindly request that visitors check the opening hours before their visit, as the Urban Sports Center Stožice ‘s hours change monthly due to the introduction of new courses, programs, holidays, etc.

The riding are of the center has the maximum capacity of 25 users (15 in the street section and 10 in the flow section). Access is available on a first-come, first-served basis until the maximum capacity is reached.

The Urban Sports Center Stožice is located in the Stožice Parking House, under the eastern stands (Stand C) of the Stožice Stadium.

By car:

Red arrows indicate the driving direction and entrance via the parking house.

– Entrance 1 or 2 lead to the Stožice Parking House – then immediately turn right. Some parking spaces are available directly in front of the center.

– Entrance 5 leads to the Stožice Parking House – then immediately turn left. Parking is required before proceeding further, as the road beyond this point is one-way. From there, access to the centre is on foot.

On foot:

Make your way across the upper external plaza of the Stožice Stadium towards the entrances at Stand C (Entrance C, located between sections C and CD, marked on the map). From there, descend the stairs towards the parking garage to reach the entrance of the centre.
